Why the Wynn Hotel...

Within in a week of getting engaged, Laura and I started looking at hotels to hold our ceremony and reception. I won’t lie, it was very tiresome. The overall feeling I kept getting from most of the hotels that we looked at is that we were just a number to them. No one was really interested in hearing the story of how we met, or the story of our recent engagement. It felt more like we were trying to book a conference, not a wedding. This was going to be our special day and it was not feeling very special.

Then in early October of 2006 Laura and I visited the Wynn Hotel. Upon walking into the hotel we immediately fell in love with the wedding salon. We sat down with Jacquie (director of wedding salons), Mildred (our wedding consultant and she is Wynn's senior wedding consultant), Jamie (wedding salons assistant manager) and Christine (catering manager) and the first thing they asked us was our story. I was so happy to see that they were interested in us, and wanted to learn about how we met, how we came to Las Vegas, they asked all about our engagement – they made us feel special. After the introductions and our story was told we got the tour. From the Lavender Salon to the Primrose Courtyard (the picture above is us in the courtyard) the hotel is first class. When you walk out to the courtyard you have no idea that you are on strip – it’s private and secluded. Well my words can not do the hotel any justice – you have to visit the Wynn Website by clicking HERE.
